HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR KNITTING

Thank you so much for choosing a Tricela dress, knitted under the sunny skies of Brazil, to highlight your radiance.

Like you, this special dress requires a bit of extra care. To keep it as beautiful as the day you received it, please pay a little more attention to its needs.

 

 

WASHING

Always turn the dress inside out and do not wash it with other clothes.

Use room temperature water to avoid shrinking the dress.

Hand wash the dress, adding a little mild detergent to the water. Let the dress soak for 10 minutes. Do not use strong detergents, as they can stiffen the yarn. Rinse thoroughly.

Keep the yarn soft by adding a little bit of fabric softener or conditioner to the water and let the dress stay in it for a few minutes. Do a final rinse.

DRYING

Gently press the water out of the dress. You can use a bath towel for pressing – it helps absorb the water. Never wring out the water, as this can cause the yarn to stretch.

Dry the dress in a horizontal position to maintain its beautiful shape. Do not place the dress in a dryer or expose it to direct sunlight for drying.

 

 

GOOD TO KNOW

Do not hang the dress on a hanger, but keep it folded.

The dress doesn’t need to be ironed.

If yarn comes out of the dress, carefully pull it back into place with a hair clip or crochet hook. Do not cut the yarn with scissors, as this may cause the dress to unravel.
